How to use this writing tool
Brainstorm, outline, draft, edit. Four stages you walk through yourself — the workspace gives you structure and feedback at each one.
Brainstorm
Drop your topic or prompt into the workspace and explore the angle. Test thesis options, sharpen the question, and decide what you actually want to argue before you move into structure.
Outline
Turn the thesis into a claim-led outline. Each body paragraph earns one job, transitions get mapped out, and the conclusion gets its payoff. You rearrange sections until the shape is right.
Draft
Build the prose paragraph by paragraph on top of the outline. The workspace scores lexical naturalness and sentence-rhythm as you write, flagging where the prose is flat so you can tighten it.
Edit
Read the whole draft on screen, rewrite the soft openers, cut the filler, and shape the voice until it sounds like yours. Export a clean copy whenever you are ready.
Why a raw first draft is never enough
A frontier language model is extraordinary at producing coherent prose on almost any topic. It is also extraordinarily consistent in the wrong ways: it reaches for the same transitional phrases, settles into a steady sentence rhythm, and hedges when it should commit. Those habits are invisible to a casual reader and unmistakable to anyone who has graded a stack of essays. A real writing workspace has to give you the tools to fight them.
The edit pass is the real product. The workspace reads the draft paragraph by paragraph, flags uniform rhythm, and highlights stretches that flatline. It points out the phrases base models over-use — the "in today’s fast-paced world", the "it is important to note", the "in conclusion" — and it is on you to rewrite them in language you would actually use. If you paste a short sample of your own writing, the workspace can mirror your cadence as a reference instead of defaulting to a generic tone.
Naturalness scores, not detector theater. We will not pretend to run third-party classifiers under the hood, because we do not. What we do is compute two in-app heuristics on the draft: lexical naturalness (which flags chatbot phrasing by density) and sentence-rhythm (which measures how bursty the sentence lengths are). Both are labeled as local heuristics, and both are shown next to the draft so you can see the numbers while you edit.
Full preview before payment. You read every word of the draft in a watermarked view. You can rework sections as many times as you want. Nothing is charged until you have read the final text and decided it is what you want. That is the only honest way to sell a writing tool, and it is how we do it.
Flat pricing per essay. No subscription, no credit system, no trial that expires at 2am on a Tuesday. You pay for the essays you actually want and ignore us entirely the weeks you do not need anything. Students asked for this pricing loudly enough that it is the only model we offer.
What the edit pass actually changes
Here is a sample sentence from a raw first draft, followed by the rewrite a writer shaped inside the workspace.
Raw first draft
Furthermore, it is important to note that climate change has become one of the most pressing issues of our time, and it is essential that we take meaningful action in order to address its many complex impacts on society.
After the edit pass
Climate change is not waiting for anyone. The last decade alone has rewritten the baseline for what a normal summer looks like, and the policy response still lags roughly a full cycle behind the science. That gap is the thing worth arguing about.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from pasting a prompt into a chatbot?▾
A chatbot hands you one wall of text and walks away. This is a writing workspace: you brainstorm the angle, iterate on the outline, draft on top of it, and edit the result paragraph by paragraph. The lexical and rhythm scores flag where the prose reads flat, and you rewrite those spots yourself so the final draft carries your voice instead of a template.
Will the writing carry obvious stock phrasing?▾
Only if you skip the edit step. The workspace flags the common stock phrases — uniform sentence length, hedge words stacked together, overused transitions, vague abstractions — and it is on you to rewrite them. We do not promise to make anything invisible to detectors, because that is a moving target and every promise like that is dishonest. What we do is give you an honest read and two in-app scores so you can judge the draft yourself.
Can I pick the model?▾
The drafting engine runs on a frontier model tuned for argumentative and analytical writing. You do not pick the model directly; instead you control the things that actually matter for the output — prompt specificity, academic level, word count, and citation style. Those four knobs move the result further than a model dropdown would.
Is there a free trial?▾
Brainstorming, outlining, drafting, editing and previewing inside the workspace are free every time. You only pay when you want a clean export of a specific draft, and the price is flat per essay. No subscription, no trial that flips into a recurring charge, no credits that expire.
Will my writing be original?▾
Every draft is shaped by your prompt and your edits. Nothing is pulled from a library of stock material, and two writers with similar prompts end up in very different places. The more you shape the outline and the edit pass, the more your own voice shows up in the final text. Always follow your institution’s academic integrity policies when you decide how to use what you write.
